About Us

Ann Stein Tucker, Professional Videographer and Owner of Ann's Video Connection has been involved in video since 1981. Ann first started shooting video while managing a video store, seIling and renting video equipment and movies. In 1983 she went to Asnuntuck Community College and took classes in television production, learning to shoot and edit with professional equipment. In 1984 Ann started A & M Productions and began to freelance. Over the years she has covered thousands of events including different religious and social occasions, dance and drama, as well as many business and commercial productions. In 1991 she changed the name of her business to Ann's Video Connection.

Ann's Video Connection is a full service production company that creates videos from concept to completion, paying special attention to details. With the use of her Macintosh Computer and Final Cut Express she can accommodate jobs requiring multi camera coverage. Ann is able to produce professional graphics and special effects to polish any video production. AIl productions are digitally edited and mastered to DVD.

At the shoot Ann uses digital 3 chip professional cameras and can capture up to 3 hours on 1 DV CAM tape.  Her setup is completely DC powered and wireless. On location she brings a full set of backup equipment.  She is unobtrusive and it is said by many, "we don't remember her being there" .

Ann is an active member of the Professional Videographers Association of Connecticut (PVACT) and Wedding Videographers International (WEVA).This helps her keep abreast and on the cutting edge of this ever changing technology. In March of 1994 at the wedding MBA competition, Ann took the 1st place award for Bar/Bat Mitzvah Demos. in October 1995 at a PVACT Competition, she placed 3rd for edited openings. In 1996 she became a mother and stopped entering competitions...she is too busy working !
